About The Position

Cheer Home Care is actively hiring a Private Duty Registered Nurse on a Per Diem basis. The role offers an hourly pay rate of $48-$75 based on experience, with shifts typically being 12-hour day shifts. The company is seeking a Registered Nurse who is passionate about making a positive impact in the community, believes in the importance of connection and compassion in nursing, and enjoys spending time with older adults to provide high-quality in-home care. The RN will collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans and provide continuous feedback to clients, client representatives, and other nurses.

Requirements

Current, unrestricted California registered nurse license
3 years of experience as a registered nurse
Proof of Negative TB result
Physical Screening Documentation within the last year
Active California Drivers license and car insurance
Cell phone with Internet Access

Nice To Haves

Home Health experience preferred

Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care, medication administration, IV therapy, and monitoring of chronic/acute conditions
Manage and monitor patients with complex needs (e.g., ventilators, tracheostomies, feeding tubes)
Recognize early signs of deterioration and intervene appropriately
Educate patients and family members on disease management, medications, and equipment use
Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records
Ensure compliance with home health regulations and infection control practices
