Registered Nurse - Home Health Assessments
About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) to complete in-home health assessments in the Kansas City area on a per diem basis, allowing you to build your own schedule. The role focuses on using clinical judgment without the physical demands of bedside care, medication administration, or ongoing case management. You will conduct comprehensive health assessments, document findings using provided equipment, identify health risks and gaps in care, and build rapport with patients during one-on-one interactions. This role is ideal for RNs seeking a flexible schedule, supplemental income, or a slower-paced environment, offering independence with support.
Requirements
- Active RN license (MO or compact)
- 1+ year home health clinical experience
- Reliable transportation & Valid Drivers License (A MUST)
Responsibilities
- Perform in-home health assessments (history, meds, assess patients for in home support needed)
- Document findings using provided equipment
- Identify health risks and gaps in care
