About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) who wants to perform in-home health assessments without the typical demands of hospital bedside care, medication passes, or ongoing case management. The role focuses on one-on-one patient interaction, utilizing clinical judgment to perform health assessments, document findings using provided equipment, identify health risks, and pinpoint gaps in care. It offers a flexible schedule, making it suitable for supplemental income or a slower pace, and provides independence while still offering support. The work involves visiting patients in their homes.
Requirements
- Active RN license (MO or compact)
- 1+ year home health clinical experience
- Reliable transportation & Valid Drivers License (A MUST)
Responsibilities
- Perform in-home health assessments (history, meds, assess patients for in home support needed)
- Document findings using provided equipment
- Identify health risks and gaps in care
- Build quick rapport with patients
