Position Summary: This role involves practicing in accordance with the American Nurses Association's (ANA) scope and standards of nursing practice. The successful candidate will utilize their clinical expertise to plan and deliver safe, therapeutic, and population-specific patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. With a patient and family-centered approach, the nurse will incorporate the unique characteristics and needs of each individual into the care delivery process. Collaboration within a multidisciplinary healthcare team is essential to promote wellness and optimize patient outcomes. This position also involves leadership through orienting, mentoring, and managing team members to ensure compassionate, dignified, respectful, and efficient care delivery. Participation in unit, departmental, and/or institutional performance improvement initiatives that impact patient, family, and service outcomes is expected, based on professional practice standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required for employees hired after 9/1/2020 (those who were hired prior to 9/1/2020 are grandfathered).
• Current and valid New York State Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Current and valid BLS certification.
• Knowledge of standards of practice for all areas of patient care.
• Excellent communication (oral and written), organizational, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors Degree Nursing.
• 1 - 2 years Nursing.
• Home Dialysis experience is a must (HHD/PD )
