Registered Nurse (RN) - High-risk Labor and Delivery
About The Position
Sentara Norfolk General is hiring a Part-Time Registered Nurse for the High-Risk Labor and Delivery Unit. This is a rotating shift position, 24 hours per week. Sign on bonus up to $10,000 available for qualified candidates. At Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, home to the region’s Level I Trauma Center and the Maternal Transfer Center for Hampton Roads, our Beacon award-winning Labor and Delivery Unit offers a fast-paced, high-acuity, and rewarding practice. Our nurses are cross trained to scrub, circulate, recover, and labor/deliver, providing comprehensive surgical and obstetrical care. Supported by a collaborative team of physicians, resident physicians, maternal-fetal medicine specialists, surgical techs, and administrative staff, we deliver seamless, patient-centered care. As a teaching hospital for resident physicians, we provide hands-on learning opportunities, mentorship, and professional growth. Requirements
- Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
- NRP within 6 months of hire.
- PALS within 6 months of hire.
