About The Position

ChristianaCare Hospital's Hemodialysis Unit in Newark, DE, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a commitment of 3 to 12-hour shifts per week. The Hemodialysis Unit comprises 16 beds and focuses on providing care to patients of all ages with acute or chronic kidney-related diseases. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for assessing each patient's needs and delivering appropriate care to address those needs. This role involves a day shift with a 12-hour schedule (9a-930p), every other Saturday, and 1 to 2 on-call shifts per month. On-call responsibilities require the nurse to be at the hospital, set up, and ready to deliver treatment within one hour.

Requirements

• Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
• BSN or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of hire date.
• One year of experience as an RN in Hemodialysis
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Assessing each patient's needs and delivering appropriate care to address those needs.
• Providing care to patients of all ages with acute or chronic kidney-related diseases.
• Setting up and delivering treatment within one hour when on-call.
