Join our expanding Hematology/Oncology Ambulatory team as a Triage RN, where you’ll provide expert clinical support and compassionate guidance to patients across our Frankfort, Monticello, and Lafayette clinics. This on‑site, Monday–Friday role (8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.) offers no call, weekends, or holidays and supports a growing practice of 6 physicians and 3 nurse practitioners, alongside an experienced triage team of two full‑time RNs and one PRN. Oncology experience is preferred but not required, making this a meaningful opportunity for RNs seeking clinical autonomy, teamwork, and long‑term growth—including a move to a new building in Summer 2028.

Requirements

  • Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN).
  • Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies.
  • Requires ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner.
  • Requires awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.

Nice To Haves

  • Oncology experience is preferred but not required.
  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical support and compassionate guidance to patients across our Frankfort, Monticello, and Lafayette clinics.
  • Assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
