Part Time Registered Nurse- Health Educator (RN)

Requirements
- Must be licensed by the State of Minnesota as a Registered Nurse.
- Must have two years of freedom from chemical use problems.
- Must pass a State of Minnesota Background Check.
- CPR Certification or attain within 30 days.
- Ability to use Microsoft office programs and other computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring and/or delivering and properly documenting nursing services including admissions, discharges, outside clinic visits, and medical changes.
- Responsible for orientation, medication administration training, and staff education on current health conditions.
- Giving care under the direction of the Director of Nursing and the Chief Medical Officer.
- Working with the DON to create Health Education Curriculum for staff.
- Working with the DON to create Health Education Curriculum for clients.
- Responsible for working with the Treatment Director / Clinical Supervisor on scheduling of groups.
- Working with the DON to identify outside sources of education for clients and staff.
- Working with the Nurse Manager to coordinate intakes and Holistic Care Plan Management.
- Working as a floor nurse 25% of the time and as needed.
