About The Position

Requirements

  • Must be licensed by the State of Minnesota as a Registered Nurse.
  • Must have two years of freedom from chemical use problems.
  • Must pass a State of Minnesota Background Check.
  • CPR Certification or attain within 30 days.
  • Ability to use Microsoft office programs and other computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring and/or delivering and properly documenting nursing services including admissions, discharges, outside clinic visits, and medical changes.
  • Responsible for orientation, medication administration training, and staff education on current health conditions.
  • Giving care under the direction of the Director of Nursing and the Chief Medical Officer.
  • Working with the DON to create Health Education Curriculum for staff.
  • Working with the DON to create Health Education Curriculum for clients.
  • Responsible for working with the Treatment Director / Clinical Supervisor on scheduling of groups.
  • Working with the DON to identify outside sources of education for clients and staff.
  • Working with the Nurse Manager to coordinate intakes and Holistic Care Plan Management.
  • Working as a floor nurse 25% of the time and as needed.
