About The Position
This position involves rendering professional nursing care to provide quality patient care. The Registered Nurse will employ critical thinking skills to assess patients’ condition, recognize deviations, plan and evaluate care, monitor patients’ progress, and record pertinent observations. The role also includes delegating appropriate patient care tasks to other staff and functioning as a team member to fulfill unit goals. These are general characteristics, and duties may vary by assigned unit or shift.
Requirements
- Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
- Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
- Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position
- Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position
Nice To Haves
- Previous Endoscopy experience preferred
