About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the GI Lab at Texas Health Plano will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care. This fast-paced, high-volume department offers robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership, with opportunities for promotion, education, and growth. Requirements

Nursing Diploma required or Associate’s Degree of Nursing required
1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse required
RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree of Nursing preferred
Other – CLIAFE Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required
6-month direct Endo/GI Lab experience as an RN strongly preferred
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days required
PALS – Pediatric Life Support within 90 days required
