About The Position

Provides nursing care to the patient undergoing endoscopic procedures. Collaborates with the patient and physician to provide care. AGH is a Level I Shock Trauma Center with 5 state-of-the-art ICUs and a state-of-the-art Cancer Center, with over 550 beds. Requirements

• Minimum Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
• Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• CPR certification
• 1 year nursing experience or previous GI experience required if less than one year nursing

Nice To Haves

• 1 year critical care experience
• Minimum 2 years endoscopy experience

Responsibilities

• Conducts pre-procedural assessment and data collection.
• Participates in the care of patients undergoing GI procedures.
• Provides proper documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards and requirements.
• Maintains a safe environment for patients from assessment through to the recovery period.
