Join the Ambulatory GI Clinic at Indiana University Health, where you’ll deliver patient-centered care and guide patients throughout their digestive health journey in a collaborative, supportive environment. Enjoy a consistent schedule of 4 days per week, 8:30a–5p (clinic hours Monday–Friday), offering strong work-life balance with one day off . You’ll support a growing care team that includes multiple physicians, clinic and inpatient NPs, with continued expansion—giving you the opportunity to build your clinical expertise while making a meaningful impact.

Requirements

  • Minimum of one year of RN experience.
  • Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
  • An Associates of Nursing (ASN).
  • Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
  • An active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
  • Knowledge of procedures for performing the functions appropriate to the specific clinical area and familiarity with designated pieces of equipment and supplies.
  • Ability to coordinate a number of functions for a group of patients in an effective timely manner.
  • Awareness and understanding of legal implications of patient care activities and performance as a Registered Nurse.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
  • Two years experience in an ambulatory setting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients without face-to-face interaction.
