About The Position

The Registered Nurse is accountable for the provision of safe client care. They provide direct client care activities including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Direct and indirect nursing care and services are provided in the following areas: pediatrics, medicine, critical care, palliation, surgery, post anesthesia care, obstetrics, operating room, emergency, outpatient, and Central Processing and Distribution, gerintology (LTC Nursing).

Requirements

• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing
• Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)

• Ability to work as a member of a team
• Knowledge of Policies, Procedures, Regulations and Legislation pertaining to area of practice

• Knowledge in process of policy and procedure development
• Willingness to maintain or obtain required competencies in practice

Responsibilities

• Assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of direct client care.
• Provide direct and indirect nursing care and services in various areas including pediatrics, medicine, critical care, palliation, surgery, post anesthesia care, obstetrics, operating room, emergency, outpatient, and Central Processing and Distribution, gerontology (LTC Nursing).
• Accurate observation and documentation of patient-related information.
• Maintain or obtain required competencies in practice.
