About The Position

As a valued Employee of SHA, the general duty nurse has responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of comprehensive client care. The registered nurse is a competent clinical practitioner assisting individuals, groups and families with health-care needs ranging from uncomplicated to complex and rapidly changing status. As a professional the general duty nurse demonstrates a caring approach, including an understanding of the nursing process, a conceptual model for practice and SHA philosophy, objectives and standards. Requirements

  • Current registration with CRNS and current BCLS certification.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
  • Ability to work within established policies and procedures
  • Knowledge in applicable principles of nursing process and interventions

Nice To Haves

  • Acute Care experience preferred.
