About The Position
Ascension Seton is seeking a Registered Nurse to join their Dialysis team. This is a part-time position working days, serving Austin, TX and surrounding areas. The role involves implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating with various disciplines for patient care, carrying out physician and nursing orders, and assessing discharge planning needs.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans.
- Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
- Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
- Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
