About The Position

Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking an experienced Nurse interested in transitioning to the Emergency Department (ED) specialty through their Fellowship program. This program begins on November 9th, 2026. Eligible nurses may qualify for sign-on and relocation bonuses. Requirements

  • A minimum of one year as a Registered Nurse.
  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Associate's Degree. If RN has an Associate's Degree, within 2 years of date of hire, they must meet with their nurse leader and conduct the following: 1.) Identify which accredited school they plan to attend 2.) Provide a written plan with anticipated BSN completion date 3.) Submit a review of transcripts from the school indicating the required pre-requisites and timeline for taking the courses 4.) Complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
  • Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
  • BLS from American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of critical care / acute care experience.
  • CEN/ACLS certifications.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others.
  • Proficient computer skills required.
