About The Position

Firelands Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room (ER) at our Bellevue location. This is a part-time, nights position, working only weekends. You will work two 12-hour shifts every weekend, totaling 24 hours, but will be paid for 32 hours. Requirements

Current Ohio RN license
CPR certification prior to patient care experience
Current PALS, ACLS, Basic EKG, and TNCC required or obtained within 6 months of hire and remain current.
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent customer service skills
Computer proficiency

At least 1 year of experience

Responsibilities

Implements the nursing process with patients including carrying out physicians orders regarding diet, medication and treatment in accordance with Firelands standards of care.
Performs assessments; monitors and ensures quality care through observation and evaluation; documents nursing interventions on care plans, medical records, and reports findings to physicians as needed.
Instructs patients, staff, and family members regarding treatments, nursing plans and related patient care directed towards a safe discharge.
Responds to emergencies; maintains availability of medications and supplies; ensures cleanliness of equipment and environment.
Demonstrate service excellence and acts as an ambassador and advocate for FRMC.
