About The Position
Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking an experienced Endoscopy Nurse for a PRN (as needed) position. The Endoscopy Lab is equipped with 6 suites and performs a wide range of procedures, including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Endo Bariatric procedures, and Endoscopic Ultrasound Procedures, with over 9,000 procedures performed annually. Requirements
- Requires minimum 1 year OR, Endo, PACU or critical care (ICU/ED) nursing experience
- Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associate Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
- RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
- BLS Healthcare Provider Certification issued by the AHA is required.at hire; ACLS & PALs for Healthcare Provider Certification issued by the AHA to be completed within 90 days of hire
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
