About The Position

Responsible for patient care and support within the outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment. This position requires patient care. We are currently hiring a Per Diem Registered Nurse to work on site Monday-Friday between 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, shift availability will vary week to week! Our RNs play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients during endoscopy procedures.

Requirements

Associate's Degree Nursing required
Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Required
Clinical nursing experience 0-1 year required
Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and healthcare technologies.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred
Basic Life Support [BLS Certification] - Preferred
Ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1-2 years preferred

Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care.
Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
