About The Position

Sentara Health is currently hiring for an Experienced RN to work at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital on the Endoscopy Unit. Generous Sign on Bonus and Relocation for Qualified Candidates! Hours/Shift: FT (16hrs) 4 Days We are open Monday to Friday with working hours beginning as early as 6:30am. Work 4 four-hour shifts. Call is one weeknight per week and every 4-6 weeks Sat/Sun. 30-minute call response time required. Department/Position Overview: Join our small, close-knit department to test your skills with our high acuity patients. Our unit is self-contained with prep, procedure, and recovery. We offer shadowing if you are interested in learning more. We are looking for candidates with at least one year of previous hospital experience. The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive, patient-centered care in a dynamic healthcare setting. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, delivering treatments, and supporting patients and families with education and compassionate service. The RN collaborates within an interdisciplinary team to monitor patient progress, make clinical adjustments, and advocate for the best patient outcomes, ensuring safety and adherence to evidence-based practices.

Requirements

  • minimum of 1yr recent hospital experience
  • ADN required
  • RN License in good standing

Nice To Haves

  • Endoscopy experience preferred
  • BSN or higher preferred
