About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Endoscopy department at Atrium Health Pineville. The department performs hospital-based and outpatient procedures including colonoscopy, EGD, bronchoscopy, and ERCP. The team is described as highly specialized, engaged, and working in a positive and collaborative culture. The role involves providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe and therapeutic care according to established standards, policies, and procedures. It also involves using evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- Previous procedural care experience strongly preferred
- ACLS strongly preferred
