About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Endoscopy department at Atrium Health Lake Norman will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process. This involves delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The RN will utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills to lead efforts in creating the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. The department performs colonoscopies and EGD procedures, and the team is highly specialized, engaged, and works in a positive and collaborative culture. The Lake Norman Hospital is brand new, and the unit is expanding, offering opportunities for self-motivated individuals who love to learn and grow.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

• Previous Procedural Care experience preferred
• ACLS preferred
• Previous OR experience required
