About The Position

The registered nurse with expertise in endoscopy procedures demonstrates an understanding of the physiology and pathophysiology of endoscopy procedures and the pharmacodynamics of moderate sedation, anesthesia, and analgesia. The nurse participates in maintaining endoscopes and other specialized equipment used in endoscopic and non-endoscopic procedures and provides technical assistance during those procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or an NLN-approved program.
• Active RN license in the state of Missouri.
• Obtain BLS certification within 90 days.
• Obtain ACLS certification within 1 year.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate effective leadership abilities.
• Valuable time-management skills.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility and ability to work in a multitasking environment.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Previous nursing experience.

Responsibilities
