RN - Registered Nurse - Endoscopy - PRN Days
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Endoscopy GI Lab at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham will provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols. This role involves implementing and monitoring patient care plans, recording and communicating patient conditions, serving as a primary coordinator for patient care across disciplines, carrying out physician and nursing orders, and assessing and coordinating patient discharge planning needs with the healthcare team. The position is PRN Days, with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 6 am-2 pm, and may include extended hours.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the Alabama Board of Nursing required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND professional licensure at time of hire required.

Responsibilities
