About The Position

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Endoscopy department. This full-time position involves providing professional nursing care, utilizing critical thinking to assess patients, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and record observations. The role also includes delegating tasks and functioning as a team member to achieve unit goals. Duties may vary by unit or shift.

Requirements

Associate degree in nursing or higher level nursing degree (BSN required within 5 years from start date)
Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within ninety days of start date into position
Pediatric Life Support (PALS) within ninety days of start date into position

Nice To Haves

Previous Endoscopy experience preferred

Responsibilities

Renders professional nursing care to provide quality patient care.
Employing critical thinking skills, assesses patients’ condition, recognizes deviations, plans and evaluates care, monitors patients’ progress, and records pertinent observations.
Delegates appropriate patient care tasks to other staff.
Functions as a team member to fulfill unit goals.
