About The Position

Registered Nurses provide nursing care to patients in collaboration with families and in accordance with the American Nurses Association Standards of Professional Nursing Practice. The Registered Nurse provides primary nursing care and is responsible for the nursing care process, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. The position requires maintaining CPR and any other credentials or certifications necessary to practice competently as a Registered Nurse in the area of specialty, as well as proficiency in English.

Requirements

• Maintain CPR and any other credentials or certifications necessary to be competent as a Registered Nurse in an area of specialty.
• Be proficient in the English language.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate clinical care and assessment competency, individually and as part of a multidisciplinary team, across all patient populations.
• Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care to assigned patients.
• Assist physicians with special tests and procedures.
• Function effectively during emergency procedures according to policy and procedure.
• Facilitate a team approach to the patient plan of care, incorporating all involved disciplines.
• Incorporate standards of care into nursing practice.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance the skills needed to work with assigned patients.
• Serve as a clinical resource to support the development of other nursing staff members.
• Exhibit professional interpersonal skills in all situations.
• Protect and preserve patient rights to confidentiality.
• Conduct oneself consistently with the organization’s ethical standards, including its policies, mission, vision, and values.
