About The Position

St. Luke’s is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Boise Campus Endoscopy team. The department cares for adults and pediatric patients undergoing a range of procedures, including ERCP, EUS, EBUS, bronchoscopy, colonoscopy, and urgent, emergent, and elective EGDs. Nurses provide care across pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative management. This position is 0.9 FTE, or 72 hours per pay period, with four 9-hour shifts each week. The shift will most likely be 0800–1730 and may change with the procedure schedule. The role includes minimal weekend and holiday call, rare overnight call, and required backup call. Backup call involves two weekend days every 12–16 weeks, with shifts of 0700–1930 and a 30-minute response time. A $7,000 sign-on bonus is offered to qualifying full-time new hires.

Requirements

Nursing degree: ADN or BSN.
At least 1 year of endoscopy experience, or at least 2 years of critical care experience in ED, SICU, MICU, or telemetry; candidates with 3–4 years of Med-Surg/Telemetry experience will also be considered.
Current RN licensure from the state of practice.
BLS certification.

Responsibilities
