Beth Israel Deaconess Milton is seeking dynamic and a talented Registered Nurse to work in our Endoscopy Department. The Registered Nurse reports to the Nurse Manager and is responsible for the total nursing care of patients within assigned unit. The Endoscopy Department at Milton Hospital is a specialized, fast‑paced clinical environment that plays a vital role in patient care. The unit is organized into three connected areas—Pre‑Op, Procedure, and Recovery—and most patients move through all three during their visit. This is a collaborative setting where teamwork, communication, and mutual support are essential to delivering safe, high‑quality care. This is a busy department with consistent activity, ideal for nurses who enjoy staying engaged and making a meaningful impact throughout their shift.

Requirements

Minimum of two years’ medical/surgical experience, outpatient and GI nursing preferred
Current MA RN license
BLS and ACLS required with American Heart Association
Current IV skills preferred
Previous Endoscopy or critical care experience required

Responsibilities

Delivering patient care across pre‑procedure, procedural, and recovery phases
Safely assisting and transporting patients, including those under sedation
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure smooth workflows
Leading and supporting an Endoscopy Technician, including delegating tasks as needed
Communicating clearly, accepting feedback, and contributing positively to team goals
Responsible for the total nursing care of patients within assigned unit.
