The nurse collaborates with other professional disciplines to support effective patient care and desired outcomes, incorporates patients’ ages and cultural diversity into care, and contributes to quality nursing care through customer service and performance improvement. The nurse’s practice is guided by the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements. The position is based in the Endoscopy Unit at Gulf Coast Medical Center, which has 12 bays for PreOp, PACU, and holding-area care and three procedure rooms.
