RN - Endoscopy
About The Position
Cabell Huntington Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Endoscopy unit. They are looking for dynamic professional applicants who value customer service and a team mentality. The Registered Professional Nurse is accountable for using the nursing process, delegating patient care tasks, supervision of other patient care staff, coordinating the care for a group of patients, and consulting with other members of the health care team when indicated. The Endoscopy Registered Nurse is responsible for the excellent care of the patient pre-, intra- and post-procedure during endoscopy and/or pulmonary procedures. He/she also provides circulating and/or scrub services in the Endoscopy room during Gastrointestinal and Pulmonary procedures and assists the endoscopy team as needed in any other capacities, according to established procedures.
Requirements
- AS/Diploma/Regency Degree required
- Current RN license in WV required
- Maintains CEUs for licensure
- CPR required
- One year of Medical-Surgical experience required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- PALS required (within one year)
- ACLS required (within one year)
- CGRN preferred
- Specialty certification preferred
- Prior Endoscopy experience preferred
- Advanced Therapeutic Endo experience preferred
