About The Position

Sentara Leigh Hospital, located in Norfolk, Virginia, is hiring a part-time RN (Registered Nurse) in our Endoscopy Department. This position is approximately 24 hours per week, with shift start times varying between 6:15 a.m. - 7:45 a.m. Responsibilities include circulating, scrubbing, preop, and postop care. On-call duties are required during the week and every 6th weekend. The department handles a variety of cases including Bronchoscopy, Colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, Manometry, Small Bowel Endoscopy, EUS, and EBUS, serving approximately 10-15 patients per day. Sentara Leigh Hospital is a 274-bed acute care facility with a dedicated Orthopedic Hospital, recognized as an accredited Primary Stroke Center and Magnet hospital for nursing excellence. It specializes in orthopedic and spine care, heart, vascular, maternity care, and general surgery, and is home to the region's only 24-hour hyperbaric oxygen program. Requirements
