About The Position

Responsible for organizing and providing nursing care to patients through the process of assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Delegates aspects of care to other nursing personnel based upon their licensure, preparation and job descriptions. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. Responsible for recognizing occupational hazards and facilitate necessary changes for controlling hazards, and to provide early intervention to recognize and treat illnesses and injuries. Maintains confidential employee medical records.

Requirements

BSN or ADN degree from an accredited school or college of nursing
Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 1 month
