The RN/RPN operates within their full scope of practice, engaging in continuous education and maintaining competency in line with Southern Health-Santé Sud policies, Professional Standards of Practice, College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba, College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba, Code of Ethics, and the Regulated Health Professions Act. The role requires appropriate initiative and independent judgment in prioritizing tasks, determining work methods, and addressing unusual situations, all while adhering to the mission, vision, values, and policies of Southern Health-Santé Sud.
