About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) ER Bring your passion to Texas Health where we are Better + Together. Work location: Texas Health Cleburne, 201 Walls Dr., Cleburne, TX 76033. Work hours: Full-time, 36 hours weekly, 3-12 hours shifts, 7:00 pm – 7:00 am with rotating weekends/holidays. Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team. 17 bed Level 4 Trauma Emergency Department with the latest high tech equipment to make your job easier. Requirements

Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or Nursing Diploma Required
One-year experience as a registered nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.
BCLS – prior to providing independent care and maintained quarterly
ACLS – within 90 days of hire
CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 90 days of hire
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support – within 90 Days of hire

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred
One year of Emergency experience strongly preferred
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course - within 12 Months of hire

Responsibilities

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
Assesses the patient
Plans the care of the patient
Intervenes as appropriate
Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
Delivery of high quality of patient care through nursing education, nursing research and innovations in nursing practice.
