Requirements

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure
• Knowledge of emergency medical procedures and protocols
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

• Proven experience in emergency or critical care nursing preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency department
• Provide immediate and effective interventions for patients with acute illnesses or injuries
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in condition promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge care
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care activities
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
