About The Position

This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Services department at the Cheboygan Campus. The role involves assessing, monitoring, and planning patient care to prevent physiological complications and promote optimal health. The nurse will collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and evaluate individualized care plans based on comprehensive assessments. Continuous learning through certification, advanced practice, higher education, and literature review is encouraged. The role also emphasizes leadership through knowledge sharing, acting as a clinical resource, and serving as a professional role model. Enhanced time management and the ability to assist others are important for team performance. Requirements

• License to practice nursing in the State of Michigan.
• Competent within 6 months of hire with all age groups within defined patient population.
• Demonstrates sensitivity when interacting with diverse ethnic groups.
• BLS certified
