About The Position

Holy Cross Hospital - Davis is a 220-bed hospital serving the communities of northern Utah. They offer a broad range of services, advanced medical technology, and a comfortable patient experience. They recently opened a new 16,000-square-foot healthcare facility in Roy, known as the Weber Campus, which offers emergency care, radiology, mammography, and 24/7 laboratory services. The hospital is located in the northern portion of the Wasatch Front, close to Hill Air Force Base, Ogden, Salt Lake City, and outdoor recreational areas. Registered Nurses may be eligible for a relocation bonus up to $8,000. As a Nurse, you will be responsible for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the patient's physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. You will promote the optimal health, well-being, and safety of the patient through the nursing process, in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines, and the State Nurse Practice Act. You will also demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values. The Weekend Option RN position requires a six-month commitment to a weekend schedule and receives a $10/hr weekend option differential for Saturday and Sunday shifts.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Nursing required; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs
  • One year experience, required
  • Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
  • RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact
  • Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
  • preferred for experienced RNs

Responsibilities

  • Assume responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient.
  • Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
