Requirements
- Associate’s degree in nursing required, bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Current RN license in state of practice.
- Active Kentucky license (single state or compact) required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins
- BCLS required
Nice To Haves
- Experience in ER strongly preferred
- ACLS, PALS, Handle with Care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Patient Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.
- Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.
- Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.
- Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements. Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and late
