About The Position

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room in Lebanon, Tennessee. VUMC is a leading institution focused on patient care, education, and research. This PRN (as needed) position involves night shifts (7p-7a) with a requirement of working 4 shifts per 6-week period. The role focuses on applying the nursing process to plan and implement patient care, including education and continuum of care planning. The nurse will collaborate with the healthcare team, establish patient goals, and evaluate progress. Professional growth is encouraged through continuous learning aligned with Board of Nursing standards.

Responsibilities

Applies the nursing process to plan and implement the care of patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning.
