About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse – Emergency Room for an exciting Travel or Local job in Maryville, TN. This role involves providing direct patient care in the Emergency Department setting, assessing and triaging patients, administering medications, documenting care in EPIC EMR, responding to medical emergencies, assisting with procedures, monitoring patient status, and ensuring adherence to hospital protocols. The nurse will also be required to float to other units as needed and deliver compassionate care in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Active Tennessee RN License.
Minimum 1 year of Emergency Room (ER) experience.
At least 1 year of EPIC EMR experience.
BLS (Basic Life Support).
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).
NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale).
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention).
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support).

Nice To Haves

TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) preferred.
Prior travel nursing experience.
Strong critical care and trauma exposure in an Emergency Department setting.
Ability to work independently in high-acuity environments.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department setting.
Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity.
Administer medications and treatments using Omnicell system.
Document all patient care accurately in EPIC EMR.
Respond to medical emergencies, trauma cases, and critical conditions.
Assist with procedures and support physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition promptly.
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control guidelines.
Float to other units as required based on staffing needs.
Deliver compassionate care in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
