About The Position

For more than 50 years, St. Anthony North Hospital has delivered optimal health care to the communities of Westminster, Erie, Brighton, Broomfield, Northglenn and Thornton. Highlights of their campus include 60,000 square feet of integrated primary and specialty care physician clinics, ambulatory surgery center, birthing center with private birthing suites, Level III Trauma Center with 24/7 emergency services, over 150 inpatient beds and an outpatient diagnostics center with lab and imaging services. In 2023, the hospital received its prestigious Magnet designation. The hospital emphasizes preventive health, wellness, and health education, offering inpatient and outpatient care at one site. Qualified external applicants with at least six months of direct RN experience are eligible for a $20,000 sign-on bonus, and depending on location, up to $8,000 in relocation assistance. To be eligible for the sign-on bonus, the position must be full-time or part-time; PRN positions are not eligible. Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Nursing required
  • Nursing Diploma or by endorsement
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates
  • Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
  • RN License required
  • Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing preferred for experienced RNs
  • One year experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient.
  • Promote the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and the State Nurse Practice Act.
  • Demonstrate personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
