About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Room will provide care to a high volume of patients, including strokes and critically ill children. The role involves working within a team structure in a facility with 44 rooms, ensuring coordination with various healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of RN ER experience
- Hold current IL License
- Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, TNCC, NIHSS
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Room setting
- Collaborate with team members including Nurses, PCT, Physicians
- Handle a patient ratio of 1:4, 1:6 in the triage area
- Participate in Epic system updates
