About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse – Emergency Room for an exciting Travel or Local job in Ganado, AZ. This role involves providing direct emergency nursing care to patients with acute and life-threatening conditions, performing rapid patient assessments, triage, and prioritizing care based on severity. The nurse will administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency treatments, assist with emergency procedures, resuscitations, and trauma care, and monitor patient conditions, responding quickly to changes in status. Accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes is crucial. The role also requires collaboration with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring compliance with emergency department protocols, safety standards, and infection control policies. Patient and family education regarding care plans and discharge instructions is also a key responsibility, alongside maintaining readiness and efficiency in a high-pressure emergency environment.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona or compact state
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience required
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in high-stress, fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Commitment to patient safety and high-quality emergency care

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Critical Access or rural hospital settings preferred
