About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department. The ideal candidate will be skilled in triage, emergency response, and critical care, ensuring timely and effective treatment for patients.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact/multistate license
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and clinical skills
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
Responsibilities
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients in the emergency department
- Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments
- Respond to trauma and emergency situations with appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor patient conditions and maintain accurate documentation
- Adhere to clinical standards, safety protocols, and hospital policies
