About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Emergency Room. This role requires a Minnesota RN license and a minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience. Previous travel nursing experience is also required. The ideal candidate will have experience caring for both adult and pediatric emergency patients, with trauma center experience being strongly preferred. Proficiency in Epic charting is a plus. An Associate Degree in Nursing or equivalent nursing education is required. Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility. The position involves variable 12-hour day/night shifts, including every other weekend and holidays as needed, with adaptability to low census/on-call requirements and changing ED needs. Strong critical thinking, emergency assessment, communication, and teamwork skills are essential.

Requirements

  • Active Minnesota Registered Nurse (RN) license required
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room (ER) experience required
  • At least 1 previous travel nursing assignment required
  • Current AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
  • Experience caring for both adult and pediatric emergency patients required
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or applicable nursing education required
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius
  • Ability to work variable 12-hour day/night shifts, every other weekend, and holidays as needed
  • Must be adaptable to low census/on-call requirements and changing Emergency Department needs

Nice To Haves

  • Trauma Center experience strongly preferred
  • Epic charting experience preferred
