About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced adult emergency department. The ideal candidate will be skilled in emergency assessment, triage, critical care interventions, trauma management, and stabilization of patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions.
Requirements
- Active New York State RN License required
- Minimum Emergency Room experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- NIHSS certification must be valid at submission
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification

Responsibilities
- Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity
- Triage and manage adult emergency patients with medical, surgical, neurological, cardiac, and traumatic conditions
- Administer medications, blood products, IV therapies, and vasopressors
- Initiate and maintain peripheral and central intravenous access
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond to dysrhythmias
- Manage patients requiring CPAP, BiPAP, and ventilator support
- Provide emergency care for stroke, neuro-trauma, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, and orthopedic trauma
- Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Follow infection prevention, isolation, and patient safety protocols
