About The Position

A Registered Professional Nurse who is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing & evaluating the care of patients. Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of therapeutic patient care, patient advocacy, team dynamics, & hospital systems. Serves as a resource support staff. Requires a high degree of initiative & independent judgment. This role is for a Full time position with a 12 Hour Night Shift, specifically the Mid Shift from 3p-3a.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Graduation from an NLM accredited school of nursing.
• Current BCLS.
• ACLS, & PALS/ENPC mandatory (required with in 1st year of employment if not certified.)

Nice To Haves

• One year of recent Registered Nursing experience preferred (within the past five years)
• TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assessing, planning, implementing & evaluating the care of patients.
• Demonstrating a thorough knowledge of therapeutic patient care, patient advocacy, team dynamics, & hospital systems.
• Serving as a resource support staff.
• Functioning independently with minimal supervision.
• Directly responsible to the Charge Nurse in directing & providing patient care.
