About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will be responsible for providing high-quality, patient-centric care in a busy and high-acuity environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a large volume ED with high acuity patients
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC certifications required
- Must be proficient with Epic EMR system
- Flexibility for weekend rotations
Nice To Haves
- Experience with pediatric emergency medicine highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform barcode scanning for medication administration
- Manage medication drips and administer blood products
- Conduct patient triage and pass hospital's Triage Test
- Set up chest tubes and arterial lines
- Assist with trauma and code cases
- Administer care involving splinting and bipap/vents
