This is a Full Time/Nights position for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Texas Health Allen. The hospital is an 88-bed, acute-care facility serving the Collin County area since 2000, specializing in various services including surgery, cardiology, and women's care. Texas Health Allen holds multiple accreditations and certifications, including being an Accredited Chest Pain Center and a Joint Commission-accredited facility.

Requirements

Nursing Diploma in nursing required or Associate’s degree in nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
1 year of experience as registered nurse required
1+ years of experience as an RN in an ED acute care setting strongly preferred
RN – Registered Nurse upon hire required
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required
CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually within 90 days required
ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days
PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days
A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
