About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care to patients across various age groups, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. The Emergency Department is geared towards addressing a wide range of critical conditions such as: Stroke, Sepsis, Trauma, Myocardial Infarction (MI), Cardiac Arrest, and Respiratory Failure. Nurses in this role will focus on delivering quality patient care, assessment, and intervention appropriate to the patients' needs. The position requires a high level of clinical expertise and the ability to think critically in fast-paced situations.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York.
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience, including pediatric care.
• Current certifications in AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC are mandatory.
• Experience using electronic medical records, specifically EPIC.
• Valid driver's license that matches residency demographics.
• Completion of a skills checklist matching the specialty is required.
